INTRODUCTION

The 4th Iran Maritime Economic Forum (IMEF)/ “North-South Corridor” will take place on 12-13 Feb 2024 at IRIB International Conference Center in Tehran.

This corridor is the most important route that could reduce transit time between Asia and Europe. At this forum, the importance, opportunities, challenges and development of this corridor will be highlighted. The presence of officials, managers, experts, businessmen and international traders will get the most benefit of using this corridor.

IMEF is organized by Shipping Association of Iran and Kish IICIC in cooperation with Ports and Maritime Organization of Iran (PMO), Trade Promotion Organization of Iran (TPO) and Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ICCIMA).

The 2-day forum will be organized online and in person. Participants who are not able to attend the event physically, can use forum's virtual event platform. On the sideline of the Forum, a number of workshops will be held on topics related to the maritime industry that could not be fully explored in the main Forum as well as business promotion opportunity for companies and institutions interested to introduce their technology achievements, engineering products and services related to the transportation, transit and logistics industry. At the same time, an exhibition will be held at the venue of the Forum, where exhibitors have the opportunity to present their products, services and capabilities.

Registration fee is 600 Euro. The fee covers attendance at all plenary sessions, program and documents, attending the workshops, visiting the exhibition and visa services.

Three or more attendees from the same company will receive 15% discount on registration fee.

A premium package which includes registration fee as well as three nights stay at Parsian Esteghlal International Hotel and transportation (Airport, Hotel and Venue) is available for 1200 Euro.

One of the special conditions of this exhibition is the virtual visiting by domestic and international participants who are not able to attend the forum physically, as well as the possibility of online communication between exhibitors and visitors. Forum date & venue

All plenary sessions will be held on 12-13 Feb 2024 at IRIB International Conference Center, located at the opposite Velenjak Ave., Chamran Highway, Tehran-Iran.

Forum official language

Forum official language will be in Persian, English and Russian. Simultaneous interpretation in Farsi, English and Russian is organized.

Entry visa

Applicants are kindly requested to return the completed visa application form to the Forum secretariat. Entry visa will be arranged upon payment. Please allow at least 4 weeks for this process. Visa fee will be paid by the participant in the designated Consulate/Embassy.

Spouse admission

Delegate’s spouse will be provided with the complimentary admission to the Forum sessions. Entry visa will be arranged upon request.
